3D Medical Animation: Lower GI Colonoscopy (Sigmoidoscopy)

This 3D medical animation shows the placement of an endoscope in the large colon (bowel) during a colonoscopy procedure to screen for polyps and colorectal cancer. During a colonoscopy or a sigmoidoscopy, a biopsy is sometimes preformed to distinguish between benign and cancerous tissue.
