Back Pain Relief When You Need It

You don't have to suffer with back pain. There is a medical device that is available that can provide you with significant relief that is covered by Medicare and most insurance companies. It is an offloading Lumbar Support Orthotic. There is one in particular that is more effective than the majority of the supports available. It goes by several names depending on the supplier. The System Loc, also known as the Lumbo Sacral Offloader, is the best support for patients who suffer from back pain from most causes. The most common causes of back pain are what I refer to as the 'A-B-C litany of causes of back pain'.

They are Degenerative disc disease, Herniated disc, or HNP Lumbar, Sciatica, Radiculopathy, Spondylolisthesis, Spondylosis, lumbar sprain or strain, lumbalgia, or lumbago. The nice thing about the System Loc is that you have it to use when you need it. When you wear it you should wear it for up to four hours at a time, then take a break from it for an hour, or as long as you can tolerate having it off. It should always be comfortable when you wear it. If you are anything like me, you know which activities bring on your back pain, or make it worse.

You can use your Lumbo Sacral Offloader to prevent your back pain by wearing it when you engage in those activities that initiate or aggravate your back pain. The important thing is that you are not supposed to live in it. When you use it remember to keep yourself as straight as you comfortably can, use proper posture at all times. The System Loc also encourages you to engage the musculature of your low back , what I refer to as your postural muscles. This will prevent your back from getting weaker developing muscle atrophy, which is a reason some physicians are reluctant to prescribe any type of a back support. They think of it as a brace, which it is not. It is an offloading Lumbar Support Orthotic.

It works to re-establish the normal healthy inter-vertebral disc space and what is known as the vertebral body interval, or the measurable distance from one vertebral body to the next. By the mechanism of the method of the proper application, the pressure is offloaded from the problematic area of the lumbar spine. The lumbar spine is supported, and the intracavity pressure that occurs as a result of the gentle tightening of the System Loc stretches the lumbar vertebrae often works to alleviate most of the pain at the time of the application. Many patients are able to experience relief immediately.

It is a non-invasive, non-narcotic, non-surgical way to effectively manage and control back pain. It is covered by Medicare and most health insurance plans. When used as needed, it is an excellent alternative for interventional pain management.
