Anti Aging Cream - Best Option For Skin Aging

So you have decided it's time to do something. Your skin is getting saggy and wrinkled. You are starting to look your age (or perhaps even older than your age) and that thought scares you.

But perhaps you're unsure about what to do. Should you go under the knife or should you try more homegrown methods like using a good quality wrinkle cream?

There are many reasons why the second option is likely the best. Wrinkle creams are less expensive, non invasive, offer no required recovery period and provide long-term benefits. The hardest part of using a wrinkle cream is finding the right cream. Sometimes you have to try a few out before you find a cream that gives you the desired result, but once you find that cream, you're done.

In addition, many quality wrinkle creams provide anti-aging benefits beyond the immediate. They might offer antioxidants that help fight continued signs of aging, or they might provide retinol which help to fight wrinkles.

Plastic surgery offers many of the same benefits as a wrinkle cream - the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, the appearance of smoother, firmer skin -- but there the comparisons end. There is much more to having plastic surgery than just the outcome.

First, plastic surgery is much more expensive. You'd have to purchase wrinkle cream for many dozens of years before you'd reach the cost of one plastic surgery procedure. In addition, the effects of most plastic surgery procedures don't last for a long period of time. They often ultimately "wear down" and require a refresher (another surgery) so the same benefit can be seen.

Plastic surgery requires a search for the right surgeon. Although there are many surgeons who list plastic and cosmetic surgery as their specialty, not all surgeons will provide the same level of care. It's important that you find the right surgeon for your needs.

And then there's the elephant in the room - you must hope that any work you have done ends up looking natural. It's not uncommon these days for women to end up looking a little unnatural after having plastic surgery. They might be tighter, and perhaps even a bit younger looking, but they look a little strange, pulled, and unnatural.

Finally, there are many risks associated with plastic surgery. There is a wide array of possible side effects from the surgery and the general anesthesia necessary for most procedures. Some women get very ill after plastic surgery, others end up hospitalized, and some have a much longer-than-expected recovery period.

In the end, even considering the myriad of pros and cons (and finding that the cons often win out), many women will still choose plastic surgery, but many more will choose to fight their signs of aging with a good quality wrinkle cream and get the same effect. Only you know what's right for you.
